The Children's Academy for The Collective Heart was born when Debbie Ford's son Beau Bressler had to choose a project for his bar mitzvah. His rabbi told him, "For the first 13 years, the world takes care of the boy. At 13, when the boy becomes a man,it’s his job to help take care of the world."
